The Bulgarian Psychology Institute · Weekly Briefing

The reading list trusted by 18,400+ working clinicians across 42 countries.

Every Thursday morning, our editorial team of 14 licensed psychologists distils peer-reviewed research from Sofia State, BAS, and our partner clinics into a 12-minute briefing built for the consulting room — not the conference circuit.

Why Subscribe · An Editorial Note

It is a working tool for clinicians — not a marketing newsletter.

The Briefing is written by the same PhD researchers who publish in our 1,240-article archive and teach on our accredited CBT, EMDR, and schema therapy tracks. Each issue pairs one peer-reviewed study with one clinical translation you can use on Monday morning: a reformulated case concept, a fresh assessment instrument, a tightening of the evidence on a protocol you already run.

01

Evidence you can cite in supervision

Every claim links to a primary source in our archive — peer-reviewed, indexed, and reviewed by the institute's 14-clinician editorial board before the issue ships.

02

Bulgarian case material, rarely seen elsewhere

Full-language case studies from Sofia, Plovdiv, and Varna — including cross-clinic consultations on the institute's ISO 27001-certified records platform.

03

No sponsored clinical content

We do not run promotional insertions for therapy apps, supplements, or assessment vendors. Our funding comes from clinician subscriptions, training tuition, and BPA partnership grants.

94% monthly reader retention — the highest rate in Eastern European clinical psychology publishing, audited by Similarweb in Q3 2024.

Clinical FAQ · Plain Language

Six things clinicians ask before they subscribe.

How is the weekly briefing different from a free psychology newsletter?

The Briefing is written by 14 licensed psychologists and PhD researchers on staff — not contracted journalists. Each issue links every clinical claim to a peer-reviewed primary source in our 1,240-article archive, and we run no sponsored clinical content, therapeutic product reviews, or app placements.

Will this count toward continuing education or BPA credit?

Reading the Briefing does not, on its own, generate BPA continuing-education credit. Our accredited CBT, EMDR, and schema therapy certification tracks (which Clinician-tier subscribers get 15% off) do issue BPA-recognised CE hours. We issue a verifiable Certificate of Attendance for every cohort completion.

Can I switch between the English and Russian editions?

Yes — every subscriber can switch between the EN and RU editions at any time from their account page. Bulgarian-language case studies remain in Bulgarian regardless of edition, with abstract translations provided in EN and RU.

How does billing work — and how do I cancel?

Billing is monthly or annual, priced in EUR (with BGN, USD, and GBP invoicing on request, no FX markup for Clinic & Department seats). We use Stripe for card payments and bank transfer for institutional invoices. Cancellation is one click in your account — we do not run retention calls, and you keep access until the end of the paid period.

What happens to my email address and reading data?

Your email is used only for the briefing you signed up for, never sold, and never shared with the 217 practices on our clinical records platform. We are ISO 27001-certified, run reader analytics on first-party cookies only, and honour a one-click data export and deletion request at [email protected].

Does the institute provide therapy to the public?

No. The Bulgarian Psychology Institute is a publisher, research body, and training provider — not a treatment service. Our Certified Member directory lists clinicians in private practice; the institute itself does not see patients.
